Allied Resource Recovery (ARR) is a locally owned and operated recycler that has been in business since 1938. ARR is dedicated to improving our community and environment through recycling as a three-generation, family-owned operation. Our commercial division services Southeastern WI utilizing our dedicated fleet of trucks to pick up recyclables at manufacturing and distribution centers.


We are looking for a Territory Buyer to locate and offer our recycling services, to purchase metals, cardboard and paper. Our buying team purchases commodities from our customers and is able to find solutions to their recycling challenges. If you possess buying/sales and customer service skills and are looking for a change, we will train you in the recycling business. If you have some background knowledge of metals or recycling, it will be advantageous.


We offer a base salary, competitive commission program, car allowance, company profit share program, health and dental insurances with an 80% employer paid premium, two weeks of paid time off in your first year and a 401(k) with a 100% company match


Position Responsibilities and Qualifications:

· Develop knowledge of the recycling industry and seek out new market opportunities to expand our recyclable materials purchasing.

· Build customer base by meeting with potential customers and providing competitive bids for their recyclable materials and our services. This will involve a significant amount of cold calling and developing long term customer relationships. Prior experience involving new client development and customer relationship management required.

· Service customer base by advising them on process improvements or special projects and providing competitive bids for additional recyclable materials and our services. This will involve maintaining customer relationships and building trust. Prior experience involving customer retention required.

· Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to communicate effectively inside and out of the organization. Proficiency in Excel will be necessary in this role. Prior experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Salesforce desired.

· Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required to make site visits throughout assigned territory.
