Senior Internal Sales Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Internal Sales Representative with expertise in both Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling our advanced OT and ICS solutions to industrial clients, contributing to their operational efficiency and automation needs. In this role, you will partner with the Head of R&D Commercialization and report directly to CEO. As our Sr. Internal OT/ICS Representative (ISR), you will:
• Daily duties involve a combination of sales, client interaction, and strategic planning
• Prospecting and Lead Generation
• Client Meetings and Presentations
• Needs Assessment: Work closely with clients to assess their current operational technology and control system infrastructure Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and areas where OT.AI Platform can bring value
• Proposal Development: Create detailed and compelling sales proposals that outline the proposed product solutions Highlight the cybersecurity features and measures integrated into the proposed solutions
• Negotiation and Contracting: Engage in negotiations with clients regarding terms, pricing, and contract details Secure agreements and contracts, ensuring alignment with both client expectations and company objectives
• CRM and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system Document details of proposals, contracts, and any relevant client communication
• Collaboration with Technical Teams: Facilitate effective communication between sales and technical teams throughout the sales process
• Customer Follow-up: Follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction with implemented solutions Address any post-implementation concerns or questions, fostering a long-term relationship
Required qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven track record of successful sales experience, particularly in the industrial automation, OT, and ICS sectors.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex industrial processes.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient computer skills
• Effective communication abilities (written and verbal) across online meeting platforms, phone, and email
• Passion for operational technology, industrial control systems, and a commitment to staying current with industry developments, cybersecurity a plus
• Willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients and attend industry events
Preferred qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Representative
• Background in working for a startup or high-growth technology company, a plus
• A candidate with experience in industrial automation, control systems, or related technical sales roles. A strong understanding of industrial processes, along with the ability to navigate complex technical discussions, is highly valued in this role
