The role has two primary components:

  • supplies (boxes, packing materials, etc) for Standvast’s North American network. This means monitoring inventory levels, analyzing usage patterns and working with the fulfillment centers to ensure that they have the materials they need when they need them.
  • operational processes through root cause analysis and reporting on defects, using SQL and Python to write queries and generate reports.

  • that the strength of an analysis is based on how well it enables the business to make decisions. This means that simple solutions often out-perform complicated models.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, or 5 years equivalent work experience
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas
  • Experience in SQL, Python or another similar language
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally & written) with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to respond tactfully and escalate as needed
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Familiarity with lean thinking and lean principles


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours at a time.
