Our client, a leader in the industry, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst. This critical role involves managing billing documentation, customer purchase orders, change orders, and construction contracts to ensure balance and accuracy. The AR Analyst will support one of the company's largest customers, requiring strong attention to detail and accountability. This role requires experience with change orders in the construction industry. This is long-term contract and is paying between $25-$32 contingent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively address and resolve customer payment issues, including chargebacks, returns, and short payments.
  • Reconcile original purchase orders (PO) with change orders, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Ensure proper documentation by securing sales support documents and processing change orders.
  • Handle AIA contracts for substantial labor projects from initiation to completion.
  • Utilize electronic document storage systems to maintain organized records.
  • Investigate discrepancies between customer POs, system balances, and proposals to ensure alignment.
  • Maintain accurate A/R balances and activities for key customer accounts, providing detailed overviews.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate customer documentation.
  • Perform account reconciliations and schedule follow-up calls to address outstanding issues.
  • Research and resolve remaining account balances through diligent follow-up and necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure prompt receipt and update of POs from customers by holding all parties accountable.
