OT (Occupational Technology) Scope Manager required for a major Offshore Windfarm Developer in the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

  • The OT Scope Manager shall maintain an appropriate project organization capable of delivering these services to asset projects.
  • Work closely with OT Engineering Manager and the OT Security and Readiness Manager to ensure that the relevant QA/QC standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in alignment with security and compliance requirements, as well as the regulatory requirements.
  • Work directly with CIS as well as IT and O&M organizations to ensure that corporate requirements, local legislation, and applicable standards are understood and implemented across the organization effectively by leading collaboration activities, developing common processes and identifying areas of collaboration to add value and minimize unnecessary activities across all areas where OT Systems Engineering and Security are engaged.

Requirements:

  • Broad experience with (project, technical, line) management in large international organizations - PM qualification or strong evidence of recent PM role.
  • Broad experience with conceptual development and implementation - specifically OT Security and OT Networks in Energy Industry, specifically NERC and Critical National Infrastructure.
  • Broad experience with consultants and subject matter expert companies - Understanding of role and responsibilities inherent in testing and commissioning activities and handover into an Operations Organization.
  • Highly competent in navigating and leading up and across in a complex global organization with very skilled professionals.
  • Excellent understanding of drivers in the complex delivery model in offshore wind farm projects interfacing with TSOs and other system operators.
  • Good understanding of cross-cultural challenges both within the company and outside - ability to work with internal and external vendors and service providers with differing levels of security, technology and process security.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the capability to inspire and motivate a team, foster collaboration, and drive performance, is essential.
  • Experience in leading and managing a diverse and global team, as well as coordinating with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Excellent ability to solve complex problems to effectively manage projects and mitigating challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effectively collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and align the department's objectives with the overall strategy.
