JOB DESCRIPTION


Spur Design is looking for an Architectural Drafter with 0-2 years of experience in BIM software programs. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in drafting from a technical school or community college, be proficient in REVIT and other industry software, and possess strong creative design, time management, and communication skills. The role involves supporting various project types, assisting in the development of drafting standards, and ensuring the completion of coordinated Construction Documents.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Provide support on various project types within Spur Design including AutoCAD/BIM project set-up, development, and detailing.
  • Assist in the development of internal Spur Design drafting standards under Architectural Designers.
  • Assist the Project Architect or other Designers in preparing and ensuring the completion of fully coordinated Construction Documents that comply with all project and code requirements.
  • Daily responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
  • Assisting the Project Architect or Architectural Designers in the coordination of sub-consultants at all production and drawing coordination levels.
  • Ensuring compliance with Spur drafting standards and quality control.
  • Execute multiple tasks for different projects and prioritize deadlines and responsibilities




QUALIFICATIONS


  • Entry Level position for drafting architectural drawings and details
  • 0-2 years’ experience with BIM software programs
  • Associate degree in drafting from a technical school or community college preferred
  • Proficient in REVIT and other industry software
  • Strong creative design and ability to find unique solutions to problems
  • Time management- must be able to work on multiple projects at a time while
  • keeping to tight project schedules
  • Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills between the architectural team and consultants

  • Dental Insurance, employer covers 100% of employee premiums and 50% of family premiums
  • Vision Insurance. employer covers 100% of employee premiums and 50% of family premiums
  • Retirement benefits include matching 401k contributions of 1-for-1 matching up to 3% and 1-for-2 matching up to 5%, with a maximum match of 4% for a 5% employee contribution. This plan is a “safe harbor” eligible plan and, subsequently, no vesting period is required past initial eligibility requirements.
  • Spur Design also offers reimbursement of training and professional organization dues or fees with prior approval by ownership.
