We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our client's dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of family law, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal issues. This role involves supporting attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division. This is an onsite and temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with family law cases, maintain client files, track deadlines, and court dates.
  • Gather information and documents from clients, provide case updates, and facilitate meetings.
  • Draft and revise legal documents, prepare discovery requests, and organize exhibits.
  • Conduct research on family law issues and summarize findings.
  • Schedule hearings and ediations, prepare trial notebooks, and file court documents.
  • Maintain calendars, assist with billing, and perform general administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law.
  • Proven track record of managing family law cases from inception to resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of family law procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
