Role: IT Support Engineer
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM PST
Duration: 3-4 months
Location: 100% Remote but 1 week onsite at the start
Pay: $35-40/HR
Job Duties:
- Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of IT systems
- Provide daily network, server, and systems support and monitoring
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues remotely and via phone
- Windows server, server application, and O365 administration and user management
- Manage security options to maintain privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Take ownership of issues reported and see problems through to resolution
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer and system issues
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate support channel
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Administrator position or related role
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components, including laptops, Apple mobile devices, Windows 10/11, on-prem Active Directory, O365, and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent server and application troubleshooting skills.
- Effective remote support and deployment via tools such as ManageEngine. Endpoint/Desktop Central, ConnectWise Automate, or TeamViewer.
