Job Summary

The HR Manager will work to ensure the smooth and strategic functioning of HR operations in the skilled trades industry. This position will focus on driving employee satisfaction, ensuring compliance, enhancing company culture, and supporting business objectives through effective HR practices. Essential Functions:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy. Conduct workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct investigations related to employee grievances and complaints.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management system. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance appraisals and improvement plans.
  • Leadership and Development: Identify training needs and oversee the development and implementation of training programs. Mentor and develop the HR team members.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage compensation and manage benefits programs.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor HR metrics to gauge the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Prepare reports for senior management on HR activities and outcomes.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department budget effectively.
