The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

Experience Required

  • Proven track record as a lead Project Manager role within asset management, with a fixed income focus preferred
  • Proven track record working as a lead Project Manager on wide variety of strategic, regulatory and tactical initiatives
  • Experience of working on system and operational migration initiatives within asset management
  • Ability to create and define operating models
  • Exposure to a wide spectrum of financial products including Fixed Income, ETDs, OTCs, and SMAs
  • Experience with Charles River OMS preferred
  • Trade-lifecycle expertise a plus
  • Strong planning, co-ordination and organizing skills
  • Change management skills
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
  • Excellent at building and maintaining relationships
  • Independent of thought – able to work independently yet judge when to consult
  • Construct business operating models Critical analysis of external vendors and suppliers
  • Ability to review and interpret legislation and effectively communicate how it will impact teams within the organization
  • Presenting to senior management and external clients & suppliers
