Glast, Phillips & Murray, P.C. seeks a Litigation Attorney to join our Dallas office specializing in Commercial Litigation and/or Insurance Defense.
Glast, Phillips & Murray is seeking motivated, detail-oriented attorneys with experience in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Insurance Defense who prefer a structured approach to their practice.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must hold a degree from an ABA accredited law school, admitted to practice in the State of Texas, have at least two (2) years of practice experience, and excellent analytical skills. Candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have a solid work ethic. The ideal candidate should ideally have experience in the following: trial, hearings, depositions, motion practice, discovery, as well as strong research, written and verbal communication skills.

The Position
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of litigation matters, representing clients in various industries and defending against claims and disputes.
Responsibilities
Members of our attorney team should ultimately engage in all aspects of pleading and motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediation, trial, and interface with clients through reporting as well as the underlying investigative process, with an eye towards developing proactive resolution strategies. The objective is for our each attorney to independently manage and supervise a litigation caseload, overseeing cases from beginning to end. To aid in our team members’ development, we offer a robust mentorship and training program to new attorneys within our supportive work environment, in which attorneys are welcome to participate.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary, a merit-based bonus structure, discretionary bonuses, participation in a 401K plan, a student loan and tuition reimbursement plan, as well as health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and disability insurance with no premium payments, and a vacation/sick leave policy.
