Job Summary

Homeland has partnered with an organization in Nashville, TN who is seeking a creative and bilingual individual to join their team as a Content and Social Media Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging graphics, presentation decks, and other materials in both digital and print formats. They will also translate various written materials into Spanish and identify new content opportunities, strategies, and tools to enhance exposure and optimize our platforms and channels. Additionally, the role involves assisting with research and writing tasks as needed, as well as supporting the development of community outreach initiatives.


Requirements

  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must have strong writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and NextDoor
  • Knowledge of Canva, InDesign, or other graphic and design platforms
  • Basic photo editing skills via mobile and desktop devices
  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion, and to work independently with little supervision
