Successful candidates will have the following:


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in construction, development, or energy sectors.
  • Experience assisting in the preparation, review, and management of construction and development-related documents, including contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Experience supporting the legal team in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Experience conducting legal research and analysis on energy development, construction projects, permitting requirements, and real estate transactions.
  • Experience providing assistance in obtaining necessary permits and licenses for construction and energy development projects.
  • Experience providing support in negotiating and managing project contracts and agreements.
  • Experience assisting in the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities and subsidiaries and maintaining corporate records, including minutes, resolutions, and other governance documents.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, real estate transactions, permitting processes, and commercial agreements.
  • Familiarity with contract management software or legal document management systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, Workshare and Sharepoint.
  • Must be a notary or be willing to complete requirements to become a notary.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
