Title: Lead/Delivery Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of software projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, particularly in Java, Spring Boot, React, and REST API development, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, priorities, and constraints, translating them into actionable project plans and deliverables.
- Coordinate resources, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to allocate tasks effectively and optimize team productivity.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and methodologies for software development and project management, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, employing problem-solving skills and strategic thinking to overcome challenges.
- Communicate project status, updates, and dependencies to stakeholders and senior management, providing transparency and facilitating informed decision-making.
- Champion the use of modern technologies and tools, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements to drive innovation and improve project outcomes.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and commitment to delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize delivery processes and methodologies, seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and REST API development.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, Agile, or Scrum.
- Experience in full-stack development and familiarity with related technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and relational databases is desirable.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and relevant technical certifications (e.g., Java, Spring) are advantageous.
- A passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
