Sr. Production PlannerGabriele & Company is working with a Bedford, MA area manufacturer seeking an experienced Sr. Production Planner to manage production planning functions while maintaining lean inventory and meeting customer commitments.This role serves as the critical link between sales commitments and manufacturing execution. You'll develop master production schedules that balance customer requirements with inventory optimization while managing order backlogs, forecasts, and supply constraints.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain master production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize inventoryLead and mentor buyer-planner team membersTranslate supply chain data into actionable timelines for sales teamsIdentify capacity constraints and drive solutions proactivelyRelease work orders based on MRP signals and kanban triggersSupport new product introductions with materials and capacity planningResolve inventory discrepancies and drive continuous improvement initiativesManage supplier relationships to ensure material availabilityCollaborate cross-functionally to achieve production targetsRequirements5+ years planning experience in manufacturing environmentsBachelor's degree preferredProficiency with MS Teams and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel required)Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, MRP, inventory management, and Kanban systemsExperience managing complex BOMs (50+ parts) and competing prioritiesUS Citizenship requiredCompetitive base salary, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
