Key Responsibilities:
Manage Team and Service Operations
Maintain Customer Relations
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians, troubleshooting complex issues and recommending solutions as needed.
- Oversee DDC Service Department
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of service team members.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and expense reports to ensure cost-effective operations and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, upselling of services, and expansion of the client base.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Track T&M, supply house visits and closed work orders.
- Oversee all service billing and expense activities weekly.
Safety and Compliance:
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to promote awareness and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Manage the Company Safety Team including monthly meetings, periodic site visits and safety awareness programs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (8+ years) in commercial HVAC service management or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Highly proficient computer skills with MS Office, Service Dispatch Software and Financial Software).
- Building automation experience is a plus but not required
