Inside/Outside Sales Representative

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new business with distributions and OEM customers as well as perform sales calls in the field to generate new business. This candidate should be able to support existing customers and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. They will also be able to before customer service responsibilities on existing accounts.

 

Responsibilities

·        Calls on potential customers (O.E.M. and Distributors) to solicit new business.

·        Interacts with existing customers to solicit additional orders and ensure customer satisfaction.

·        Displays/demonstrates products.

·        Keeps the Sales Manager briefed on all major trends and keep him/her up to date on both short-term and

long-term projects.

·        Maintains records of account activity on assigned accounts.

·        Attend Trade Shows as required

·        Perform various customer service-related activities

·        Evaluates manufacturing methods, materials, tooling and quality control issues to determine feasibility for quoting special parts.


Qualifications

  • Experience in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field a plus
  • Previous experience in fastener sales a plus
  • Previous experience selling cold formed and screw machined components a plus
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
  • Strong customer service skills
