Growing real estate private equity fund is looking to bring on a Fund Controller. Tons of room for growth here and this role will work closely with the team and take on additional responsibilities over time. Generous compensation/benefits including an automatic contribution to your retirement account (% of total annual compensation).
Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with fund credit facilities by interpreting agreements and maintaining portfolio asset knowledge.
- Conduct data analysis on large asset portfolios, including reconciliation and calculation of compliance tests.
- Supervise Fund Administrator in preparing quarterly financial statements, capital account statements, and distribution notices.
- Analyze distribution waterfalls based on fund legal documents.
- Review partnership and fund Internal Rate of Return (IRR) quarterly, and perform ad hoc calculations.
- Review management fee calculations.
- Support audit and tax professionals during year-end reporting.
- Prepare detailed cash projections for fund liquidity reporting.
- Assist in preparing LP-specific reporting and responding to client Requests for Proposal (RFP).
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in accounting/finance
- Experience with private equity and credit-related products
