As we scale, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive our upcoming Series A fundraising efforts.

Position Overview:

The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic financial leadership and managing all financial aspects of the company. This role is pivotal in preparing and executing the company’s Series A fundraising strategy while ensuring the organization’s financial health and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team for strategic decision-making.
  1. Fundraising and Investor Relations:
  • Lead the preparation and execution of Series A fundraising, including investor presentations, due diligence, and negotiations.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, venture capital firms, and financial institutions.
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Monitor financial performance and key metrics, providing regular reports to the leadership team.
  1. Operational Financial Management:
  • Establish robust financial controls, processes, and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain stability.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal financial requirements.
  1. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the company scales.
  • Collaborate across departments to align financial goals with operational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading Series A (or higher) fundraising rounds.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
  • Experience in e-mobility, automotive, or a similar industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
