Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP APO Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and a proven track record of successfully designing and implementing SAP APO solutions. As an SAP APO Architect, you will be crucial in optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.


Key Responsibilities:


Solution Design: Develop and design end-to-end SAP APO solutions, including Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Global Available-to-Promise (GATP).


Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP APO projects, including system configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.


Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective SAP APO solutions that align with business objectives.


Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the supply chain and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that solutions are aligned with architectural standards and best practices.


Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical design documents, and user manuals.


Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using SAP APO functionalities.


Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SAP APO, working closely with the IT team and vendors as needed.


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.


Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP APO, with a strong focus on solution design and implementation.


Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP) and integration with SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Proficiency in ABAP programming and debugging is a plus.


Project Management: Experience in managing SAP APO projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.


Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.


Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
