Responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills, extensive experience with system administration tasks, and a proven track record of implementing and supporting complex IT systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking devices, and virtualization platforms.
  • Manage and administer Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain Active Directory services, including user account management, group policy, and domain controllers.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform capacity planning to ensure efficient operation of IT systems.
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.
  • Configure and maintain virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, to support server consolidation and workload optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect IT assets from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff and end-users, resolving escalated technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in system administration and IT infrastructure.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE, VMware VCP) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on managing Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory administration, including user and group management, group policy, and domain services.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Experience with server hardware, storage systems, and networking technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of system monitoring and management tools, such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and configuration management tasks.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management (ITSM) processes.
  • Project management skills and experience leading IT infrastructure projects.
