JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented PR Reporting Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting large-scale clients by providing comprehensive coverage reporting across print, digital, and broadcast media. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in weekly reports that are shared directly with clients, including, in many instances, the executive leadership of these organizations. These reports will require a strong focus on written summarized metrics, data storytelling, key learnings, and performance breakdowns, ensuring that the insights provided are clear, actionable, and aligned with the strategic goals of our clients. Proficiency in Spanish is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables and graphs, is essential. Experience with Canva and Google Slides is preferred for visual presentation purposes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coverage Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on media coverage across print, digital, and broadcast channels for large-scale clients using platforms including Muck Rack, Google, Google Alerts, and Bing. Ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness in all reports.
  • Weekly Reporting: Compile end-of-week reports that include key metrics, highlights, and KPIs using Google Sheets. Reports will be shared directly with clients, including their executive leadership, and must be organized and presented in a clear, actionable, and easily understandable format.
  • Data Analysis: Create charts, graphs, pivot tables and other analytical visual tools to interpret and present data. Identify trends, insights, and key learnings to inform strategy and client communication.
  • Content Creation: Write clear and concise breakdowns of media coverage, key learnings, and campaign performance. Ensure all content is accurate, insightful, and aligns with client expectations.
  • Client Liaison: Collaborate with account teams to ensure reporting aligns with client goals and provides actionable insights. Communicate findings effectively in both English and Spanish.
  • Visual Reporting: Use Canva or similar tools to create visually appealing presentations that summarize reporting data. Ensure all visual content is on-brand and meets client standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly document current reporting practices and processes, then review and refine them to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay updated on best practices in PR reporting and data analysis to continuously improve and adapt reporting methods. Ensure that any process changes are well-documented and communicated effectively.
  • Time Tracking: Accurately track time on a daily basis to ensure efficient project management.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Spanish: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to review, analyze, and interpret media and content in both languages.
  • Spreadsheet Software Expertise: Proficient in using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, with a deep understanding of pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Reporting Skills: Experience in media reporting using platforms including Muck Rack, Google, Google Alerts, and Bing, with a strong ability to compile and analyze data across various media types.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights based on reporting.
  • Writing Skills: Possess fundamental writing, editing, organization, and proofreading skills.

  • Software Proficiency: Required proficiency in Muck Rack, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva.

  • Industry Knowledge: Work to understand the client’s industry, terminology, and competitive landscape.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field, with at least one year of agency experience, including internships.


WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Physical Demands: Sitting 85% of the time, standing 15% of the time.
  • Working Hours: Typically, work hours are from 9:00 AM CST to 6:00 PM CST, Mondays through Fridays. Availability to work as needed on nights and weekends may be required.

  • Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands and fingers for computer use.
