Our ideal candidate would be someone who loves people, aviation, and a challenge. The duties required for this position include managing the flight schedule and the front desk activities. If chosen, you would be responsible for performing duties that keep the flights on schedule and the office running efficiently. This job requires professional administrative skills and the ability to provide extraordinary customer service. Candidate must be a flexible, organized dependable team player with the ability to prioritize tasks and work accurately and independently at a fast pace. Knowledge of the aviation industry is required. Marketing and social medial skills are beneficial.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling flights and charters
  • Answering phone calls regarding flight operations
  • Selling and booking tours
  • Greeting and directing customers in courteous and professional manner
  • Coordinating flight arrangements for staff pilots
  • Coordinating helicopter schedules for maintenance
  • Entering flights into computer database
  • Maintaining organized work environment
  • Assisting with special projects as needed
  • Filing Mexico flights with Customs
  • Flight-follow for charter flights
  • Assist with marketing projects

Qualifications:

  • MUST CURRENTLY BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US
  • MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
  • Requires excellent record keeping skills
  • Skills with excel
  • Basic understanding of aviation industry and helicopter operations
  • Minimum educational requirement of associate degree or vocational degree
  • Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel programs
  • Experience with an inventory database (ERP) system, such as EBiS
