We are looking for an Art Director + Graphic Designer that will help design and evolve Apex’s creative deliverables to be class-leading and tell our clients’ stories the best.


You’re a great candidate if this sounds like you …

  • Strong skills with Adobe Creative Suite (Figma is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with print production and creation of production files
  • Ability to apply an existing look and feel across numerous deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint
  • Energized by elevating creative ideas with each new project
  • Love to stay current on the latest design trends and technology that influences what’s next in visual communications
  • 3+ years of design experience in an agency setting


Bonus Experience (not required)

  • Skills in web design and digital platforms
  • HTML + CSS coding
  • Experience working on automotive projects


Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do...

  • Develop concepts from creative briefs and see them through the production phases
  • Create program themes and visual identities across all graphic and scenic elements
  • Create client presentations
  • Apply existing theme graphics across a range of deliverables
  • Work closely with strategists, writers, and other creative team members to create new benchmark in visual deliverables


Salary

Dependent on Experience. Freelance, with the possibility of converting to full-time.


Location

Our office is in Irvine, CA. We have a hybrid schedule with three days a week in the office.
