Mobile App Tech Lead

A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for a Mobile App Tech Lead. This role is ONSITE in Torrance, CA- a multi-year contract with no end date, W2 only.Daily Task Performed: • Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor, the mobile development team to ensure successful delivery of projects. • Project Ownership: Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications. • Architecture & Design: Build scalable and maintainable solutions for complex business challenges. • Native Development: Lead development for Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) platforms. • Integration & Security: Work with RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, and third-party SDKs. • Automotive Integration: Implement and maintain CarPlay and Android Auto features. • Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards through code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers and other stakeholders.Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS' • 4+ years of experience in mobile and smartwatch app development. • Expertise in native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) • Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT) and API integration. • Experience with CarPlay and Android Auto. • Proficient in debugging and performance optimization. • Familiarity with MQTT and real-time communication. • Experience integrating third-party SDKs.
