POSITION OVERVIEW
ThreatLocker is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our dynamic product development team. The Product Manager will work closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and the product development team to scope and define new products, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and meet market demands. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, we are looking for a Product Manager with previous IT experience as an IT Manager or Product Manager in IT. This position requires full-time, in-office work.
JOB SCOPE
- Collaborate with the CPO to identify and prioritize new product opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
- Gather and document detailed business requirements and user stories.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to ensure product requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from stakeholders and refine product requirements.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps and timelines.
- Create and update documentation, including UI/UX mockups, database dictionaries, APIs, etc., to support the product life cycle.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on changing requirements.
- Assist in the development of business cases and ROI analyses for new product initiatives.
- Monitor and report on product performance and user feedback post-launch.
- Work with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.
- Support the CPO in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Ensure alignment of product development with the overall business strategy and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role.
- Previous IT experience as an IT Manager or Product Manager in IT is required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced tech company or cybersecurity company – preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of DB SQL & API Integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of product management and development processes.
- Certification in Business Analysis – Preferred (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
- Must be able to work in the office full-time.
