Business Analyst with a specialization in Trade Surveillance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trade surveillance practices and regulations within the financial industry. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing trade surveillance requirements, gathering business needs, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective surveillance processes and systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with compliance, risk, and technology teams to understand trade surveillance requirements and regulatory obligations

Analyze and document business processes related to trade surveillance and transaction monitoring

Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for trade surveillance systems

Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives

Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to enhance trade surveillance capabilities

Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of trade surveillance systems and enhancements

Provide support and guidance to business users during user acceptance testing and post-implementation activities

Assist in developing training materials and conducting user training sessions

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to trade surveillance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on trade surveillance

Solid understanding of trade surveillance practices, market abuse regulations, and related compliance requirements (e.g., MAR, Dodd-Frank, MiFID II)

Knowledge of trade surveillance tools and systems (e.g., Actimize, SMARTS, or similar)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications related to trade surveillance or compliance (e.g., CAMS, CFE, or similar)

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

Knowledge of electronic trading platforms, order management systems, and trade lifecycle

Understanding of financial products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX
