Blu Petroleum Inc is a premier distributor of petroleum products in the Northwest Indiana area. We are seeking aggressive, outgoing, confident, and financially motivated Outside Petroleum Consultant. Blu Petroleum delivers a variety of petroleum products for many industrial and commercial clients. We are currently seeking a candidate for the Northwest Indiana and Chicago, IL areas. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience closing new business in similar wholesale industries in these territories. All candidates must be successful in a B2B sales environment.
You will be responsible for sales growth in your territory by;
- Closing new business and servicing new and existing customers
- Developing and implementing sales action plans.
- Creating cost effective strategies to improve margins and productivity.
- Participating as a team member to set and achieve sales goals.
The ideal candidate will ideally possess the following;
- Previous experience with wholesale field sales.
- Previous experience in the Petroleum industry.
- Closing new accounts in similar markets, not necessarily like products.
- Familiarity with outside sales in a very competitive industry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, and writing programs.
- Willingness to meet customers anywhere including job sites.

- Candidates with fuel experience will be given priority review.
