Reporting to the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Board of Company (“the Company”), the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) is charged with driving the growth of a Company. The Company is a leading wholesale tire distributor dedicated to providing high-quality tire products and exceptional service to our clients. The Company is an innovator with a depth of house brands creating a differentiated competitive position. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, we strive to meet the diverse needs of the tire industry while maintaining a competitive edge in the market. This position is promotable to President of the Company in the near term based on performance.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term growth plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the management team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to inform strategic decision-making.


Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including sales, distribution, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Streamline processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and performance metrics to measure and improve operational performance.


Financial Management:

  • Work closely with financial management to develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
  • Monitor financial performance, take advantage of opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve profitability goals.
  • Efficiently use working capital to maximize sales and cash flow. Experience managing asset-based financing is required,
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies to maximize financial results.
  • Experience and success utilizing data analytics to drive performance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive customer loyalty and retention.

The Candidate will have/will be:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or relevant technical area; with an MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within the wholesale distribution industry, preferably in the tire or auto parts sector.
  • Broad industry background in wholesale marketing and sales.   
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to anticipate market trends and drive innovation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. A leader who is effective at getting things done through others and creating an environment that rewards risk-taking and personal growth.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial management, operations, and strategic planning.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Keen on entrepreneurial organizations and business practices but knows how to build infrastructure to support growth.
  • An analytical manager with the capability to identify actionable data and analysis in a data intensive business context
  • Prepared to locate in Los Angeles or Orange County, CA.
  • A tremendous work ethic and high degree of integrity
  • Experience or knowledge in Real Estate Financing is PREFERRED.


The Candidate will be interviewed for his/her ability to be down to earth and genuine; to relate to people in diverse settings – from the warehouse to the board room, customers, bankers and shareholders; to be focused, thoughtful and results-oriented, and articulate with a strong presence. Furthermore, the candidate will be assessed to be highly competent in distribution, warehouse management, sale leadership, working capital management, data analytics, operations, and overall strategic business development and financial acumen.
