Lasting Media is currently looking for a skilled WordPress web developer to join our team. If you are an entry-level, but skilled developer who is proud of your work and looking for a challenge, join our team. We’re looking for a developer that is passionate about delivering the best possible product – coding designs to pixel perfection and developing custom WordPress themes and functionality while following framework standards and guidelines. We believe in using plugins where needed, but we are looking for someone who is confident extending the functionality within their own ability and does not default to plugins for trivial functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Custom WordPress Development: Utilize your WordPress development skills to create and maintain custom WordPress solutions that enhance our client’s online footprint.
  • Digital Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the Marketing team to integrate digital marketing strategies, including social media strategies, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Leverage your knowledge of WordPress to implement changes that improve site performance, working efficiently with cross-functional teams of copywriters and designers.
  • Conversion Optimization Expertise: Use your expertise to optimize pages based on data for maximum conversion rates, continuously improving the user experience.
  • Problem Solving: Act as a problem solver, identifying issues and finding efficient solutions to ensure a seamless user experience during live events and launches.


Qualifications

  • Must be comfortable working in the faith-based world and with faith-based organizations
  • Familiarity with the Christian entertainment industry is a plus
  • Must be willing to work full time in office - REMOTE OR OUT OF COUNTRY APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
  • Highly disciplined and excellent time management skills
  • 1-3 years of experience managing web/digital/technical projects (or related experience) is preferred
  • Skilled within the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Skilled and Experienced in Front-End Design execution. Taking designs from layered design files to pixel-perfect execution.
  • Understanding of JS/HTML/CSS in the latest frameworks and technologies
  • Understanding of Bootstrap and responsive execution
  • Understanding of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
  • Understanding of CSS(3) and HTML5
  • Basic knowledge of DNS management and hosting environments preferred
  • Background in implementing major UI’s/UI components
  • Experienced in eCommerce (WooCommerce, Shopify) systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
