Who You Are:


We’re looking for an experienced product leader (Principal Product Manager) with a proven background in driving product vision/strategy for complex digital products and delivering quantifiable value, preferably in the Commercial/Residential real estate industry.


We would be particularly interested in you if you:

  • Have experience leading digital products in the CRE (buying, selling and financing of commercial/multifamily properties) industry.
  • Are currently working as a product leader but have hands-on experience/background in developing software products.
  • Are obsessed with identifying/defining the "What", "Why" and "When" and owing the the Product Roadmap in partnership with various levels of business/non-business stakeholders.
  • Have significant experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Continuously assess appropriate tradeoffs between driving long term outcomes with short term priorities.
  • Are comfortable making product decisions with imperfect information.
  • Are comfortable managing ambiguity and complexity.
  • Have a Product Management professional certification from an industry standard body (such as Product School, AIPMM, or other similar).


Job Responsibilities:


  • Employ a structured approach for defining product vision and strategy, topline metrics for measuring success and baselining of key KPIs.
  • Create and present concepts, business cases, progress reports to executive level stakeholders.
  • Be the DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for defining/driving success for the assigned products by optimizing the technology spend.
  • Create, measure, monitor meaningful OKR’s tied to topline metrics and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with and influence across a variety of organizational functions (including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Tech, etc.)
  • Be the “voice of the customer” from the business side in to the organization.
  • Partner with key business partners to define/drive product positioning, marketing, adoption and user engagement.
  • Work on discovery of new ideas to assess/define the problem statement, the benefit hypothesis and adherence to the strategic vision.
  • Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product.
  • Partner with UX designers and data engineers to conceptualize high-quality solutions that help users accomplish their “Jobs To Be Done”.
  • Breakdown epic/feature level requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Groom user stories with the engineering team and provide clarifications on requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and delivery leads to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of committed features on a roadmap.


Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

  • University Bachelors/Masters degree, preferably in business, information systems, marketing, computer science, or other relevant areas.
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, having managed multiple/portfolio of digital products.
  • Strong analytical skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.
  • Experience doing multiyear product planning based on data/logic driven cost-benefit analysis.
  • Proficiency in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Miro, Lucid, etc.
  • Proficiency in Azure/ Devops, Jira and other similar tools for backlog management.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles.
  • Experience driving stakeholder discussions, demonstrations and sticking to the desired agenda to produce expected outcomes.
