Mosaic Companies is searching for a Product Project Manager. This professional will manage the flow of products from conception to execution and requires project management, process management, and innovative/creative problem-solving. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to multitask and manage several high-level projects simultaneously. The individual is required to work cross-functionally between the design team, marketing team, sales team, sourcing team, supply chain team, financing team, and customer service team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage projects including product development, new item launches, product review preparations, special requests, and large commercial projects
  • Manage processes and process improvement. This requires holding individuals responsible for following processes
  • Manage the flow of information and facilitate an environment that enables product information to flow and be readily available to all necessary teams and individuals
  • Work with the design team to organize the information required to document and manage the flow of new product development
  • Work with the sourcing team to collect all required information to introduce a new product for product review one-time special projects and large commercial projects
  • Work with the sales team to present all necessary information for new product reviews such as product specifications and pricing
  • Provide sales team with all necessary information for big box sales, distribution sales, special requests such as one-time projects, and large commercial projects
  • Work with the marketing team to organize product information and product samples for photography and other marketing materials
  • Work with the supply chain team to provide the necessary item information in order to procure new products
  • Work with the financial team in order to present proformas and buy plans for new product launches
  • Work with customer service to provide new item information and product support, and answer any product questions
  • Create and manage projects using project management software
  • Support all the sales team, marketing team, sourcing team, supply chain team, and customer service team with all product-related tasks that are required in launching new items and supporting existing items

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in wall tile, mosaics, or flooring industry
  • Familiar with technical details and standards for specifications in the wall tile, mosaics, or flooring industry
  • Experience with coordinating the flow of products domestically and internationally from concept and design to executing sales and distribution
  • Familiar with details involved in sourcing products domestically and internationally
  • Experience with the coordination and development of marketing, packaging, SKU Barcode, and item setup
  • Working knowledge of project management software
  • Ability to create, implement, manage, and continually improve processes
  • Capable of thinking high-level and big picture as well as willing to become submerged in the details in order to support all teams
  • Ability to manage workflows, prioritize, and shift focus as necessary
