Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Virtual Patient Care Coordinator, you

will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care, as the first point of contact for our

patients in need. You will be responsible for guiding patients through their intake

process, coordinating appointments, and ensuring efficient communication between

patients and our pelvic health specialists.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Patient Intake and Navigation:

● Guide patients through the intake process, ensuring all necessary

information is collected accurately and efficiently.

● Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding our services,

including pelvic health assessments and treatment options.

● Assist patients in navigating our online platform for scheduling

appointments, accessing resources, and communicating with our team.


2. Appointment Scheduling and Optimization:

● Coordinate appointments for consultations and follow-up sessions with

pelvic health specialists.

● Utilize scheduling software to optimize therapist schedules and ensure

efficient use of time.

● Communicate appointment details, including date, time, and virtual

platform instructions, to patients in a timely manner.


3. Communication Liaison:

● Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, promptly addressing

inquiries via phone, email, and online chat.

● Facilitate communication between patients and pelvic health specialists,

ensuring that patient concerns and questions are addressed promptly.

● Maintain clear and professional communication with internal team

members to facilitate a seamless patient experience.


4. Administrative Support:

● Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, documentation,

and Superbill generation.

● Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy

regulations, such as HIPAA.

● Collaborate with Operations Manager and therapists with regard to

patient billing or insurance-related / Superbill issues.


Qualifications:

● Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in communication, business administration, or

a related healthcare field preferred.

● Previous experience in a patient care coordination role preferred, preferably in a

healthcare or telemedicine setting.

● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to

effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals remotely.

● Proficiency in using virtual communication tools (Slack), scheduling software,

Excel, Word, Gmail, CRM and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage

multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

● Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to

providing exceptional customer service.

● Ability to consistently work within Pacific Time business hours.
