Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Merchandising Assistant, Ecommerce, to join our team. This role is crucial in optimizing our Amazon presence by enhancing product listings, conducting thorough keyword research, and ensuring our brand's catalog is competitive and compliant with Amazon’s guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product & Keyword Research:
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to enhance product visibility.
  • Analyze competitors to identify opportunities for improvement.
  1. Competitor Analysis:
  • Perform detailed analysis of competitors to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.


  1. Copy Optimization & Creation:
  • Optimize existing product copy to improve search rankings and conversion rates.
  • Create new product copy as needed to support new listings and updates.
  1. Brand Audit:
  • Conduct regular audits of the brand's Amazon presence to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.


  1. Omnichannel Copy & Template Management:
  • Develop and manage copy and templates for use across various channels to ensure brand consistency.


  1. Catalog Management:
  • Manage and optimize the brand's catalog on Amazon, addressing any related issues promptly.


  1. Content Uploading:
  • Upload new content to Amazon, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.


  1. Variation & Bundle Creation:
  • Create product variations and virtual bundles to enhance the customer shopping experience.


  1. New Listing Management:
  • Manage the creation and optimization of new product listings.


  1. Issue Resolution:
  • Address and resolve issues related to suppressed listing detail pages and other catalog-related challenges.


  1. Compliance:
  • Ensure that the brand store and A+ content meet Amazon's compliance standards.


  1. Account Maintenance:
  • Handle various tasks to maintain a healthy Amazon account, as discussed and assigned.


Requirements:

  • Proficient in Helium 10 for keyword research and product optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of Amazon Seller and Vendor Central.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for team collaboration.
  • Experience with Salsify for product information management.
  • Understanding of Amazon's seller and brand registry accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce and retail merchandising is preferred.
