Our client stands at the forefront of eye care services, especially catering to underserved communities. With a dedication to not just meeting but exceeding patient expectations, we prioritize quality care over sales, focusing on the well-being and satisfaction of our patients, many of whom benefit from Medicaid.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations at the East Dallas location, with eventual responsibilities at 2 nd store in North Dallas.
  • Oversee a team of 7 office employees, ensuring high levels of team performance and patient care.
  • Handle managerial duties including, but not limited to, employee management, HR responsibilities, and some aspects of billing in coordination with other billing resources.
  • Provide leadership without the need to directly manage optician processes, though a comprehensive understanding of these processes is required.
  • Foster a non-sales-focused environment, emphasizing quality care and patient satisfaction over pushing high-end product sales.
  • Fill in operationally as needed, with a flexible approach to scheduling and hands-on management.


Requirements:

  • Bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate with patient base.
  • A four-year college degree and completion of a 2-year optician training program is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an optician, with a strong preference for candidates who have demonstrated success in managerial roles within underserved communities.
  • Ability to navigate and lead in challenging environments, with a commitment to safety and patient gratitude.
  • Flexibility to work Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and every other Saturday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with occasional needs to cover shifts.
