Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, including the supervision of two clerks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP Warehouse Management and Inventory Management. This role requires a minimum of 4-5 years of warehouse supervision experience, with a strong emphasis on SAP expertise in inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.
- Supervise and assign daily tasks to Warehouse Associates and clerks, ensuring workloads are managed efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory and shipment records using SAP Warehouse Management.
- Ensure inventory and storage areas are organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Communicate with customers to address shipping and receiving inquiries, and resolve any related issues.
- Enforce safety procedures, especially in the operation of forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse personnel, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; higher education or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision.
- Strong expertise in SAP Warehouse Management and Inventory Management is mandatory.
- Proven ability to oversee daily warehouse operations and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
