Job Overview

As a Delivery Driver for Pennsylvania Paper & Supply Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers across the region. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, a safe and defensive driving record, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, reporting any defects or repairs to the supervisor.
  • Load and unload products in warehouse and facility as needed, utilizing a forklift, power or hand truck, and lift gate.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, ensuring seamless coordination of transportation and warehouse duties.
  • Perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Make independent judgments, which have moderate impacts on the organization, and take responsibility for public contact, maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, with one year of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent driving record, with a valid Class B CDL and random drug testing for driving company vehicles.
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving, with the ability to safely operate various vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean MVR and proper drug testing.
