Summary:
Design and develop new firearms and improve existing products. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, component inspection, prototype testing, and collaboration with manufacturing teams to optimize designs.
Essential Duties:
- Create and revise CAD models and drawings.
- Support product design and development, including DFM, DFA, and stack analysis.
- Manage bills of material and track component status.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams for project completion.
- Write technical reports and perform statistical analysis.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Understanding of GD&T and stage gate methods.
- Familiarity with MS Office; statistical software knowledge a plus.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Min. 1+ years of experience with firearms.
- Preferred: Experience with Metal Injection Molding, CNC Machining, steel stampings, and plastic molding.
