We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, hands-on, and compassionate leader to become the next Corporate Director of Finance at Oram Hotels.


As the Corporate Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the overall financial success of our three hotels, food and beverage outlets, and overall real estate portfolio. You will plan and oversee the activities of a diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of the real estate portfolio, hotels and food and beverage outlets.


Responsibilities

  • Directs and administers all financial operations of the hotels, food and beverage outlets, and overall real estate portfolio to include, but not limited to, asset protection, financial reporting, systems management, budget, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Provide effective leadership to ensure complete accountability for financial and overall Accounting Department performance.
  • Has final oversight of Cash Management and Chargebacks for the portfolio
  • Ensure the monthly financial statements, monthly forecasts, balance sheet, statement of cash flow (according to Company Policies and Procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and the Uniform System of Accounts), and other mandated reports are executed in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Conduct month end P&L reviews for accountability, accuracy, and discrepancies with GM’s, as required.
  • Ensures compliance regarding all financial practices and regulations.
  • Oversee & Manage portfolio's capital expense budgets and reconcile expenditures and escrow account.
  • Annual Operating Plan – Partner with property leaders s to prepare assumptions and goals for controllable expenses, labor expenses by position, and all revenue departments.
  • Prepare Capital Expense budget for the following year as well as a five-year capital plan.
  • Monthly GOP Forecasting - Partner with GM and operations to forecast acceptable profit and flow through
  • Monitor portfolio’s Reserve accounts as it relates to reconciling actual payout to what is “pulled” by Servicer.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward. Recruit, interview, and train accounting team members.


Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Director of Finance experience, in select-service/full-service hotels of similar size and caliber.

Experience from Marriott or Hilton brands is preferred. Successful candidate must possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Real estate experience is required.
