Role: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $90K-$130K (depending on experience) + benefits package

PERMANENT FULL TIME



Job Summary

As a QA Engineer - Unified Communications, you will design, integrate, and validate automated solutions for complex telecom and VoIP environments. This role focuses on developing automation frameworks to optimize the performance, scalability, and efficiency of large-scale voice architectures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Automation & Validation: Develop automation frameworks to test and optimize VoIP systems and telecom networks.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Automate telecom infrastructure (Cisco Broadsoft, Sonus SBC, PBX) using tools like Ansible, Python, and Bash.
  • System Integration: Design and validate VoIP ecosystems across private clouds, networking hardware, and telecom protocols (SIP, RTP).
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure scalability, security, and performance through rigorous system monitoring and validation.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate cloud and telecom infrastructure solutions.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in telecom/VoIP system automation.
  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco Broadsoft, Sonus SBC, SIP, and RTP protocols.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of SDN, NFV, and private cloud platforms (RHVM on HPE Synergy).
  • Skills: Advanced troubleshooting in VoIP environments.
  • Proven ability to lead automation and validation for large-scale telecom systems.
