Litigation Paralegal


LHH is looking for a Paralegal to join one of their clients in Denver and support their litigation practice. This is a full-time, direct hire position where you will be eligible for excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), 4 weeks of PTO, and 13 paid holidays.

The pay range for this position is between $87-116k depending on experience + you will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This is a hybrid position where you will be able to work remotely 2-3 days per week.


Responsibilities

  • Review case documents and organize them in litigation support programs
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal documents
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
  • Conduct legal and factual research using online databases and other sources
  • Assist attorneys with case management and strategy
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, court personnel, and other parties
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and billing


Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or certificate from an accredited paralegal program
  • 7-12+ years of experience as a Paralegal
  • Solid understanding of litigation issues and process
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, OneDrive, Relativity, and other litigation support programs
  • Familiarity with both Minnesota state and federal courts and procedures
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to work under time constraints and handle a varied workload
  • Self-motivated and inspired by our firm's mission and values
