Our client is looking for an Engineering Technologist to sit in Columbus, OH. This is an entry level position that will be fully trained This role is on the major projects team which works on a variety of distribution design projects. The role is focused on designing and entering work orders for the team into proprietary client systems. This is mainly in the office but may include some field time. Looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with a company

  • The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise to accurately evaluate options and design safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution facilities for roadway, highway, and large-scale lighting.
  • Learn company/client policies and procedures for the development of site designs for electrical distribution facilities to serve a variety of customers.
  • Prepares site drawings and construction sketches for various installations of electrical facilities in a cost-effective manner that maximizes safety and service reliability.
  • Prepares project or job packages including material estimates and material requisitions of the materials required for the prepared distribution electrical designs.
