Job Title: Credit Analyst

Pay: $22.50/hr. (Paid weekly)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

We are looking for a Credit Analyst responsible for supporting, with supervision, the Regional Credit Supervisor (RCS) and Regional Credit Manager (RCM) in ensuring adherence to the company’s credit and collection policies and procedures. This role involves actively participating in credit extension and risk management of the assigned AR portfolio and providing analytical support to evaluate credit activities. The Credit Analyst will also handle various account management tasks and recommend appropriate courses of action to regional credit and collections leadership.


  • Investigate and verify new account credit applications using various references and credit reports, setting credit limits up to $50,000.
  • Recommend credit approvals for amounts above authority to the Regional Credit Manager.
  • Set up new accounts in the database, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Proactively address and resolve account and order issues, supporting sales representatives and managers.
  • Conduct credit reviews and maintain customer account information in the system.
  • Prepare and review weekly status reports for Regional Credit and Sales Management.
  • Manage customer account risks, including daily task lists and Customer at Risk reports.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance to the sales team for account performance optimization.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality.
  • Communicate and escalate issues to the Regional Credit Supervisor or management as needed.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Support the regional credit department with business correspondence, customer files, credit references, and proof of deliveries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 3 years in commercial credit and collections, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and accounts receivable; NACM CBA and CBF Certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in credit and collections analysis with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in accounts receivable and basic accounting.
  • Strong negotiation skills and high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong alphanumeric data entry skills and ability to perform 10-key by touch.
