Tidewater Equipment Company is the Southeastern United States premier heavy equipment company. The company was founded in 1947 and has grown to over 20 full-service branches selling new and used heavy equipment throughout the Southeastern US. We are currently looking for a Marketing Director to support the development, execution, and administration of our forestry division’s marketing program.


Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Research, develop and implement annual marketing and communications plans to support the business objective of the company
  • Generate market presence, develop awareness, and strengthen loyalty to generate leads and increase market share
  • Create and help manage strategies for communications, websites, public relations, social media, and other marketing messages related to the company
  • Implement, analyze, and report the performance of advertising campaigns
  • Establish and manage the marketing budget and any co-op funds
  • Design, edit, and proof print, online, and radio advertisements
  • Assist sales team with market analysis reports and tools
  • Relate with industry associated sponsorship and memberships
  • Coordinate company and association events
  • Build strategic relationships with manufacturer and company department managers, sales representatives, parts, service, and other personnel


Skills/Experience: Marketing or business degree required. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams is necessary. Graphic design, marketing, event planning, communications and public relations experience is essential. We are seeking a creative, highly organized team player, who is self-motivated and possesses strong communication skills. Must be willing to travel.
