Our Newport Beach, Californica client is a dynamic and rapidly growing D2C tech-enabled consumer products company that is building a global growth platform, acquiring and evolving e-commerce brands into household brands. With a focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and market leadership, we are seeking a dynamic, gritty and strategic Director of Growth Marketing.


Job Summary:


As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will be a key leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies that will enhance our client's market share, customer acquisition, and revenue growth in the Direct-to-Consumer space.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Manage large advertising budgets effectively, optimizing spend across various channels to maximize ROI.
  • Create, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track campaign effectiveness and drive continuous improvement, and provide regular reports to executive leadership.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Manage the entire customer journey, from initial engagement to conversion and retention.
  • Work closely with web development teams to optimize user experience and conversion rates on digital platforms.
  • Leverage expertise in Google, Facebook, Taboola, Subchannels, micro market spaces (such as Etsy, and Pinterest), and other social channels to reach target
  • Develop strategies to launch brands into retail channels, leveraging digital marketing expertise to drive success.
  • Provide insights and guidance on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer trends to inform business decisions.

Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

  • 5-7 years of experience in growth marketing in a Direct-to-Consumer environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing large advertising budgets and driving significant business growth.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful growth strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the entire marketing funnel and experience managing the customer journey.
  • Previous experience working for a thriving consumer goods brand, with a focus on startups and fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, with a deep understanding of various channels and platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive results with limited resources.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
