Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst/Data Modeler

Location: Houston, TX (hybrid) in office M, T, TH

Contract: 12 months with opportunity for extension

(travel required: minimal travel to Canada)


Department:

  • Corporate supply chain management group
  • Program and product managers, and a data scientist
  • Facilitating meetings with stakeholders and report where each product is
  • Entire team is currently located in Calgary; however, they want to branch into US market
  • Team at time does support the implementation stage
  • Sometimes implement solutions depending on size and will work with a few other IT folks
  • Team is supply chain business and has innovation in mind
  • Solve different types of business problems internally
  • Work with dedicated IT team to create initiatives and programs
  • Provide solutions within ETL's
  • Automation and robotics projects come from innovation side of business


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with supply chain management business problems within Oil & Gas industry
  • Pulling data from multiple ERP systems - SAP, Oracle Cloud, and Oracle R12, and Maximo data
  • come up with solutions
  • Example of business problem - procurement, AP invoicing problems - identify those problems within SCCM process. Collaborate with other business areas


Skills:

  • 4+ years
  • bachelors degree preferred
  • Will hire someone more entry level and more willing to learn technical side of business
  • Someone with more knowledge on business and supply chain side and can learn technical portion
  • how to solve problems in end products
  • Good understanding of oil & gas industry
  • Understands end to end process of products
  • Manage different stakeholders
  • Deeper understanding of solutions
  • Can be very innovative
  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Dataflow, Power Automate, Power Apps) for workflow automation and low-code development experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and analytics preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in SQL for data processing, automation, and analytics preferred but not required
  • ETL experience not required
