Job Title: Claims Specialist

Location: Olathe, KS 66061, United States

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 14 weeks (Temp-to-Perm)

Hours per Week: 40

Shift and Time: Day Shift, 8 hours per day (Monday - Friday; start time can be 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM)

Experience Required:

  • Hospital claims experience
  • UB Claims and Denials experience
  • Proficiency in multiple computer systems (Cerner, Epic, Claims Scrub system, DDE Medicare)
  • Good typing skills
  • Ability to manage 80 claims daily

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies required by the assigned unit or department
  • Confirm receipt of daily billing files from the claims clearinghouse
  • Research and resolve claim rejections within designated timeframes
  • Report claim rejection trends or delays to management
  • Submit paper claims and supporting documentation as required by payers

Certificates Required: High School Diploma
