Role DescriptionAs the Sales Development Administrator (SDA) you will work directly with the Teamwear Sales Director (TSD) to develop, organize and manage inbound leads and sales. You will also assist in the creation and deployment of marketing plans and communicate with existing and potential clients, providing accurate, courteous and prompt assistance, while effectively delivering an overwhelmingly exceptional experience through all stages and touch points in the client’s journey with Jo+Jax.

The primary purpose of this role is to engage potential teamwear clients through creative, unique and inventive sales and marketing strategies. Then to assist the TSD in organizing, managing and processing sales - from successful showings, to efficient/accurate order processing and meeting all promised deadlines. You will assist in maintaining certain standards, policies and procedures that will be implemented into the daily operations of teamwear sales and marketing.

In addition to working directly with the TSD to develop, maintain and grow teamwear sales, when needed you will also work across other areas of the business to ensure deadlines are met and company goals and objectives are maintained. You will work with other members of the Jo+Jax team (from design to production - marketing to operations) to constantly improve the product offering and better the overall customer experience for all Jo+Jax clients.


Qualifications

  • Skills & Abilities:Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, with the ability to implement creative strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience in managing schedules, orders, and client information.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales management tools, and scheduling applications.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and generate detailed reports.
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a track record of delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Technical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
  • Experience with order processing systems and vendor management.
  • Problem-Solving & Initiative:Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Additional Qualifications:Knowledge of the teamwear or apparel industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to organizational goals.


General Roles and Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Lead Generation:Represent Jo+Jax’s products and services with comprehensive knowledge to effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
  • Generate and nurture leads through various channels, including events, marketing campaigns, and social media.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, ensuring a high level of engagement throughout the sales process.
  • Sales & Order Management:Assist the Teamwear Sales Director (TSD) in scheduling and organizing client showings, ensuring all preparations are complete and showrooms are ready.
  • Manage and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols from creation to production.
  • Confirm and review orders with clients and the TSD, making necessary adjustments and maintaining clear communication throughout.
  • Marketing Support:Collaborate in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and strategies to enhance brand recognition and attract new clients.
  • Research and utilize marketing tools, platforms, and events to effectively target and engage the core teamwear client base.
  • Assist in managing social media accounts and promoting Jo+Jax’s teamwear offerings.
  • Merchandise & Vendor Coordination:Assist in procuring merchandise from approved vendors, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery and payment.
  • Maintain visibility and communication regarding order status with vendors and internal team members.
  • Internal Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate logs for client and vendor orders, tracking all relevant details and updates.
  • Support the creation of detailed sales and product availability reports for key stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
  • Client Support & Satisfaction:Maintain regular contact with existing clients, providing timely responses and support throughout their journey with Jo+Jax.
  • Proactively engage with clients to plan future showings, and ensure satisfaction with products and services post-delivery.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns efficiently, taking ownership and making necessary corrections to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work collaboratively with various departments, including design, production, and operations, to continuously improve product offerings and customer experiences.
  • Contribute to a creative, positive, and customer-centric organizational culture by taking initiative and proposing improvements.
  • Leadership & Initiative:Take on leadership responsibilities for specific areas of the role, defining and achieving key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented approach, actively seeking ways to enhance business operations and achieve organizational goals.
