SUMMARY:

Dexian is seeking a seasoned SOC Manager with specialized expertise in Microsoft security products to join our team. In this role, you will lead our Security Operations Center (SOC) team, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products to enhance our cybersecurity capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOC operations, hands-on experience with Microsoft security tools, and a proven track record of effectively managing a global cybersecurity operation.




PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC).

Orchestrate people, processes and technology across a global enterprise.

Develop, implement, and maintain SOC policies, procedures, and playbooks.

Oversee the monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents and threats.

Run vulnerability management and threat intelligence globally.

Utilize and orchestrate security products (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 Defender) to enhance SOC capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SOC activities with business objectives.

Conduct regular assessments of SOC performance and implement improvements as needed.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and new Microsoft security technologies.

Provide guidance and mentorship to SOC analysts and other team members.

Serve as a subject matter expert on SOC-related matters for internal and external stakeholders.

Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures, ensuring readiness to effectively respond to security incidents.

Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans both internally and at times for clients to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Coordinate with external cybersecurity vendors and service providers as needed.

Lead the investigation of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation efforts.

Participate in tabletop exercises and simulated cyberattack scenarios to test SOC readiness and resilience.

Monitor threat intelligence sources to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Lead the development and delivery of SOC training programs for team members and other stakeholders.

Prepare and present regular reports on SOC performance, including key metrics and insights, to senior management.

Help develop and mature an external Cybersecurity as a Service offering to provide SOC services for our clients.


QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate should have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Extensive experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on SOC operations and management.

Extensive experience with Microsoft security products, including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft 365 Defender.

Strong understanding of SOC processes, procedures, and best practices, with the ability to lead incident response efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, GSOM or Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst associate are preferred.
