- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the site operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Promote a safety-first culture, conducting regular safety audits, training, and incident investigations to minimize risks.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the site’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyze financial reports and performance data to identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for the site, aligning with corporate objectives and market demands.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, process improvements, and technology upgrades to enhance the site’s competitiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and community partners.
- Represent the site in corporate meetings, industry conferences, and public forums.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in processes, quality, and performance.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance production capabilities and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or a related industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
